What does "Hope Fueled" Mean?

Posted by on

When I created the Hope Planner, I knew I didn't want to call our business 'Hope Planner.' I had a feeling there was something more to this ministry growing inside me and I didn't want the name to limit what we created.

In my brainstorming I came up with the name 'Hopefuel'... a play on the word "hopeful" – the feeling you get when you make plans and goals – and it stuck. And then one Sunday I was sitting in church and I wrote down in my notes....

"What does it mean to be Hope Fueled?"

In Romans 15:13, Paul says "May the God of hope fill you joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

...by the power of the Holy Spirit.
...by the power of the Holy Spirit.

That was it.

The world tells us that getting organized and being productive will give us the peace of mind we seek. But we all know productivity resets itself every single day.

productivity resets itself everyday but the power of the holy spirit endures forever

In Matthew 11:28 Jesus says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Come to me is an invitation to trust.

When we trust the Lord, we can let go of control and live with the assurance that the power to fuel our days doesn't come from us, but the power of the Holy Spirit that works within us everyday.

Overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit...not your performance.

❌ Not accomplishments
❌ Not popularity
❌ Not likes
❌ Not productivity
❌ Not influence
❌ Not health

✔️ BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

overflow with hope by the power of the holy spirit

It is my hope that our 'Hope Fueled' message is one that resonates with you and reminds you to trust your life in the hands of the Lord.
